Cause vaginal secretions in brown color?

Women are usually concerned when noticing changes in their vaginal secretions, due to the possibility that this change may be directly linked to their health. Disturbing secretions are brown, often interpreted as ancient blood left in the womb. The new blood is bright red and, over time, exposed to oxygen, it tends to become darker, turning brown.

These secretions may be a trigger sign related to the existence of a particular problem, and sometimes it is preferable to check with the competent doctor.

Possible reasons for disembarkation of cycle time structure

If you notice these discharges before or after your period, the reasons can be detailed as follows:

1. Structural discharge before session time

Brown vaginal secretions may be vaginal secretions mixed with the old blood left in the womb, in which case there is nothing to worry about.

2. In case of pregnancy

Pre-cycle brown secretions can be an early sign of pregnancy, called implant bleeding that occurs when the fertilized egg implants itself in the lining of the womb, and can be observed one to two weeks after the egg is fertilized.

3. If there is no pregnancy

These secretions can also be blood left in the womb, or result from an allergic reaction to a vaginal or cervical examination. They can also result from friction between the penis and the vagina during the marital relationship.

4. Approaching menopause

Pre-cycle structural secretions are normal for women in their 40s or 50s, referring to the transition period of women's menopause.

To discharge structure after cycle time

1. Blood of the remaining cycle:

The blood at the end of the cycle takes longer to leave the body, during which it is exposed to oxidation, turning red to brown, and having a thick, dry and lumpy appearance.

2. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

If you suffer from this syndrome, you should know that it can cause a disturbance in your period dates, and brown discharge may be a substitute for a full period.

3. Use of contraceptive implant

It is one of the contraceptives that releases progestin into the body and prevents pregnancy, and post-cycle brown discharge is one of the side effects of it.

There are a lot of possible reasons for brown secretions. If it occurs once without duplication, its connotation is often not serious. But if you repeat it, you need to consult your gynaecologist to determine which tests to take.
